Privacy Policy

Last updated March 2026 · OpenBand is built on a zero-knowledge architecture. We cannot share your data because we never have it in the first place.

Zero logs. Zero data. Zero tracking.
OpenBand is architecturally incapable of collecting your data — there is no database, no analytics, no server-side storage of any personal information.
01
No data collection

OpenBand does not collect, store, or process any personal information. We do not require registration, email addresses, phone numbers, or any identifying information to use the app.

02
No connection logs

OpenBand does not log your connection activity, browsing history, IP addresses, timestamps, or any data about your internet usage. We cannot share what we do not have.

03
End-to-end encryption

All traffic routed through OpenBand is encrypted end-to-end using VLESS + Reality protocol. Relay nodes in the mesh see only encrypted packets and cannot inspect your data.

04
Mesh relay privacy

When your device acts as a relay node, it forwards encrypted packets for other users. Your device cannot decrypt or inspect this traffic. Other nodes cannot identify you as the source of traffic.

05
Local storage only

Your VPN settings, connection preferences, and node configuration are stored only on your device. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

06
Third-party services

OpenBand does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking services. The app makes no network requests other than those required for the VPN connection itself.

07
DePIN rewards

If you participate in the node reward program (Phase 6), your wallet address is used for settlement on Base L2. No personally identifiable information is linked to your wallet address.
